Great monitor - but had some issues with the temperature

I love how this monitor does everything we were looking for. It helps us keep an ear out for our little one, and the lights and sound have helped to soothe my son back to sleep. The one problem is our monitor appears to have a faulty temperature gauge which regularly states the room is much hotter than it is.

That said, living in Queensland, I suspect the temperature warning may not be very useful for us. It has a maximum temperature setting of 28 degrees - which is a regular spring day here!
