Cocoonababy is an investment in sleep. Designed with a baby’s comfort in mind, it reassures and helps them adapt smoothly to life after birth. While respecting the medical recommendation to sleep babies on their back, the elongated semi-fetal position in the Cocoonababy can mimic the comfort of the womb and help reduce involuntary movements like the startle reflex and limit gastric reflux. It includes an adjustable wedge which can be moved down the nest as your baby grows.

Editors notes

This is a super easy product to use. You don’t need an accompanying bassinet, you can place it safely on a mattress in the cot. The belt straps around your baby’s waist which can give peace of mind that they won’t accidentally roll or get under the bed covers. We do suggest to buy an extra sheet. so when an accident occurs, you can thrown one in the wash and use the other that you've had on standby.

Specifications

Size: 69cm x 40cm x 19cm (1kg super lightbweight and moveable). Suitable for babies of 2.8kg and above, from birth to around three months (or when baby starts rolling).

Material: easy to assemble, the Cocoonababy comes with a white Fleur de Coton® fitted sheet (machine washable at 30°C), a waterproof sheet (machine washable at 60°C) and a white Fleur de Coton® Tummy band which maintains the baby in an ideal position without impeding their freedom of movement.

A MUST for new mums.

Can’t reccomend this product enough. I have such fond memories of my little one using this as a newborn and buy it as a gift for all my friends. It’s great for those early newborn weeks (bub will be snug and you can cook/clean/express in peace) and I often used to take mine out and about. I even travelled interstate with it!

Best purchase by far

I purchased the cocoonababy nest after 2 weeks of zero sleep and at the last tether of my sanity. Couldn’t get my newborn to sleep in his bassinet or put him down anywhere off my chest. From day 1 I was able to put him in the nest and get a few hours of sleep. I was finding myself falling asleep while feeding and this next to me in the bed, gives me the opportunity to quickly pop him in comfortably before I doze off. Great on a table, on the floor while I shower or bench while I’m cooking. It’s light enough for me to be able to pick the entire nest up and carry him to a different location without waking him.

GAME CHANGER Lounger!

Absolute game changer for my babies sleep! She is so comfortable in there and I know she is safe! Also very handy to move around the house when I need to get things done, will be very sad when she grows out of it that’s for sure - HIGHLY recommend 🙌🏼
