Postpartum Yoga Class with Amy Carmody

Pregnancy & labour is most likely one of the biggest anatomical, physiological and hormonal experiences you'll ever encounter in your life. Rehabilitating this experience throughout your postpartum will be challenging but incredibly rewarding. Regardless of whether you had a vaginal or c-section birth, this class will gently return & welcome you back to mindful movement. We'll say g'day to areas of your body that have been healing and resting; your deep core, glutes, hips and spine. Due to the required resting period post birth you'll most likely experience an atrophy to muscle mass in combination of having an estrogen dominance which impacts our strength capacity. So in saying that, be kind and go gentle on yourself.

You will need: A soft ball, theraband + light resistance band


Users must receive clearance from their obstetrician and their general practitioner prior to commencing practice with Amy Carmody Yoga.
