The Cybex Cloud Q Capsule is a stylish and innovative rear-facing capsule designed to provide a seamless and secure travel experience for young families.
A car capsule is a really helpful way to get around with your baby. A safe place for them to rest when you’re driving, when you park, you can take it out and carry your baby without interrupting their sleep to your next location, or attach it to your compatible pram. One of the standout features of the Cloud Q Capsule and Base is its unique ergonomic design. The only capsule in Australia with an adjustable backrest that can be fully reclined to a lie-flat position (outside the car only) transforming your capsule into a practical and clever carry cot - this means you are not restricted by the two-hour time limit usually recommended for capsules. The car seat ensures optimal comfort and healthy spine development for your baby, important for long car rides.
The integrated Side Protection System (SPS) provides maximum protection in the event of a side-impact collision, shielding your baby from potential harm. The energy-absorbing shell further enhances safety measures and the one-hand adjustable headrest and harness system allow for quick and easy adjustments to accommodate your growing baby. The seat can also be easily installed and removed from the car thanks to its intuitive base system, ensuring hassle-free transitions between the car and the stroller.
When using your Cloud Q Capsule with your pram it has a large integrated retractable UPF50+ canopy to protect your baby, perfect for Australian weather. It features a carry handle with 5 positions and multi-use features: 3 for carrying, 1 for preventing rocking when resting on the floor, and 1 to increase stability when attached to the car. And it also features a removable newborn insert, which improves positioning for babies between 2 - 5 kgs.
Pram Compatibility
The Cloud Q can be used with all Cybex prams, and is compatible with most Maxi Cosi Adaptors - it's compatible with Joolz, Edwards & Co, and various other brands such as Bugaboo, Stokke, ICandy, Silver Cross. The responsibility for capsule compatibility rests with the pram or stroller manufacturer and it is best to check directly with that brand.

3 Questions to Find a Car Seat
Do I need a car seat or a capsule?
Car capsules are used from newborn until around 12 months. Most car seats can be used from newborn to age 4. Capsules have the advantage of being able to be taken in and out of the car without disturbing your baby (who often fall asleep on rides), but you’ll get more mileage out of a car seat. If and when you leave the house, it’s most often in a car, and you’ll be in and out a lot in your baby’s first year, the capsule might be the right choice for you. If you’re more likely to be on foot or public transport through the week and only use the car for bigger trips, a car seat may be all you need.
How will it work with your car?
Your car type and size is the main consideration in choosing a car seat. A bigger car seat may restrict the amount of legroom you get in the front seat, or how many car seats will fit across the back seat (if you’re accommodating multiple kids) and some designs are easier to use depending if your car is higher or lower. There is also the consideration of whether you’ll install via ISOFix or the seatbelt.
How will it work with your lifestyle?
If you are choosing a capsule, check it can be connected to your pram. You also want to make sure it’s comfortable for you to carry (some are lighter than others) and for both car seats and capsules, ensure you find the mechanisms for clicking your baby in, and adjusting the headrest and shoulder heights, easy to do.

Free delivery to Metro addresses in Australia. Flat-rate delivery starting from $20 to remote addresses in Australia. Delivery calculated at checkout. Due to them being a bulky item we require a physical address to deliver to as we are not able to ship to a PO Box.
