What to Know About the Most Popular Baby Boy Names

Firstly, you need to know that Oliver has held that top spot for a huge nine consecutive years. It took over from Jack in 2013. Henry is rising up the ranks, jumping to places to number four from last year, while Theodore is the only new name to the list. It's been steadily climbing for the last few years.

What to Know About the Most Popular Baby Girl Names

For the first time since 2015, Charlotte was replaced as the number one girl's name, by Isla, a name which has risen to the top from the 34th position in 2010. The other names in the top 10 are fairly consistent with some slight jostling. Amelia and Olivia are strong top five for the last decade, and the only real change to the list is the exiting of Chloe which has been replaced by Ella to round out the list.
