Details

Manual breast pumps are perfect for those who only pump occasionally and predominantly breastfeed their baby. This one is great for new mums returning to work (but still have full boobs at lunch) or for times you head for date night. Also great for relieving engorged breasts without over stimulating your supply!

Small enough to fit into your handbag and with no need for batteries or wires, mums love their on-the-go hand pumps because they are quiet and simple.

To use, simply pop over your breast and the handle allows you to mimic your baby’s sucking. To fully benefit from the handle's functionality, first use the short side at a fast pace to stimulate milk flow. After you see breast milk flowing, use the long side of the handle to extract your milk. Easy.

Does the job

Works well for what I want it for (baby heading off to daycare, expressing once a day) and is what I expected. If I were pumping regularly I probably wouldn’t go for this.

Helped me with flat nipples

This is easy to setup and easy to clean. One benefit I have had is it helps to shape and extend my nipples such that I could successfully breast feed after pumping a little with the pump first.

Being manual you don’t need to rely on charging and can pump anywhere however you need time for your hand to get used to it.

Good but…

Good pump for quality etc, but the flange size is too big and the smallest available for this pump that I can find is 21mm. In hindsight I wish I’d known this before purchasing. because of this I haven’t been able to use this pump with any success.
