WHY IT'S GREAT

The Aspen is a vibrator that can improve pelvic floor muscle strength, put you in control by building confidence, and support you to ease back to greater intimacy through improved sensation and stronger orgasms. It has 7 vibration modes and is water resistant.

Use it for

1. Pre-birth for perineal massage, to help gently stretch your perineal skin and muscles.

The perineum is the area between your vagina and your anus, and research has shown that gently massaging this area later in pregnancy can improve elasticity of the skin and muscles, hopefully reducing the risk of tearing during delivery. It’s common to have some fear about the stretching and possible tearing that can happen during delivery. During childbirth education classes, this is one of the most common questions women ask about. From about 35 weeks of pregnancy, you can start preparing your body for labour using perineal massage. You can use your fingers or thumb, or a personal massage device like The Aspen, which can make it easier for you to reach, and less tiring to do.

Once or twice a week, place The Aspen 3-5cm inside the vagina. Gently press down, and then to one side of the vagina; then down and to the other side. Continue sweeping in a U-shaped motion for 2 minutes. Relax, then repeat.

2. Post-birth to stimulate sensation and strengthen pelvic floor muscles which may lead to greater confidence and more intense orgasms.

Discuss with your Doctor before use during pregnancy or following childbirth. Do not use within the first six weeks post-birth. With medical clearance, use The Aspen massage device to gently awaken your vaginal sensitivity.
