Easy to hold and still lightweight, these irresistible, beautifully designed baby glass bottles from BIBS are BPA free, temperature resistant, thermal shock resistant and shatter resistant. A smart choice if your baby has already connected with the nipple from the famous BIBS Dummies, the bottle teat has been specifically designed to match, resulting in a good interconnection and likelihood that they will take to the bottle more easily. The nipples are made in soft, pure rubber latex and can also be purchased separately, when it’s time to move your baby to the next stage, simply swap out teats. Practical and hygienic, the glass withstands freezing, thawing in boiling water, microwave heating and dishwasher cleaning and is a hygienic option as they are easily sterilised.
The flow rate refers to the size of the hole(s) in the nipple, affecting how quickly milk flows into your baby’s mouth. Every child is different, and many factors determine which flow rate suits your child, however, for newborn babies, a slow flow rate is recommended for slowing down bottle-feeding to better mimic breastfeeding, to better control milk intake, and secure babies do not overeat. Normally, the flow rate changes over time as the baby grows, and the older the baby gets they will prefer a faster flow rate.

The glass bottle withstands freezing, thawing in boiling water, microwave heating, and dishwasher cleaning. Since glass resists chemicals and acid degradation, you don’t need to worry about harmful chemicals or microplastics leaking into the milk, and you can be assured the bottle will not change shape over time, discolour or fade. Another great reason to go for glass? Many drinks are still stored in glass bottles because plastic bottles tend to impart various flavours into liquids including breastmilk or infant formula especially when heated. Glass baby bottles do not affect the taste of milk and preserve the natural flavour of infant milk formula or fresh milk expressed through breast pumps.
You can use either sized bottles from newborn onwards, just adjust the teats as the baby requires. Because they're latex nipples it’s recommended you replace them every 4-6 weeks (same as BIBS Dummies).

Perfect bottle, high quality material, have dropped it a number of times and surprisingly it is quite durable and hasn’t broken (although glass).
