Australians throw out 2.7 million single-use or disposable coffee cups every single day, amounting to 1 billion coffee cups being thrown away every single year. BBcino reusable babycino cups are lightweight, durable and made from sustainable bamboo, making them biodegradable.
BBcino use bamboo to make their cups as it’s a sustainable crop that grows exceptionally fast without any pesticides or insecticides, which means it’s better for our environment. Bamboo can be harvested repeatedly because when the stem is cut, the plant will continue to grow new stems and therefore does not require replanting.
BBcino’s reusable babycino cups will take approximately one to two years to break down in soil, whereas disposable coffee cups can take more than 50 years to break down.
