If you are investing in the Leander Classic High Chair, your baby will need a safety bar at the beginning to sit safely on the chair. The safety bar has two settings. Use the outer setting for getting your baby in or out and the inner for ensuring a snug fit. The “skirts” on the safety bar are an extra measure to prevent your child from twisting their legs to get them up under the bar, which mean that you do not need an additional harness for the chair.

When your child is about two and a half years old, you can remove the safety bar and continue to adjust the seat and footrest until one day, the larger foot rest becomes the seat and the Leander Chair can easily adapt to seat a child or even an adult as it holds weight up to 125 kgs.
