Tripp Trapp Chair
The Tripp Trapp Chair was awarded Winner in the Master of Meals category in The Memos Awards 2023, as voted by thousands of Australian parents. Stokke Tripp Trapp is the iconic High Chair that grows with your child from newborn and into childhood. The functional, versatile design will allow your child to sit, eat and interact with the rest of the family at mealtime, creating important bonds and routines while developing language and social skills. Of course, it looks amazing. The versatile, durable, slim-line design has an adjustable seat and footplate that can be changed in height and depth, elevating your child to the ergonomically correct height while seated. This helps to improve posture and gives support to a child’s developing spine whilst providing legs and feet with full freedom of movement for the adjusting and shifting of body weight. Mealtime can get messy, and we love how easy it is to wipe the Tripp Trapp clean with a damp cloth.
You can use this Chair on its own once your child can independently sit and eat, around three years onwards. Before that you will need to add on the Baby Set 2 to use it as a High Chair from around six months to three years. If you want to bring your newborn baby to mealtimes, you will need to add on the Newborn Set.
Tripp Trapp Baby Set 2
If you have the Tripp Trapp Chair, and want to use it as a High Chair for your baby, you’ll need to add this Tripp Trapp Baby Set. It’s a back support and detachable harness, which turns your Chair into a comfy and safe High Chair that enables your baby to sit upright unaided, perfect for the commencement of solids around six months and can hold a baby until around three years. The comfy, ergonomic design easily attaches onto your Tripp Trapp Chair, no need for tools (phew). With side and back support and a five point harness, it will give your baby extra stability and you peace of mind, as you approach feeding your child with solids and bringing them into family mealtime. If it gets dirty, you can wipe down, remove the harness and put it in the washing machine and the baby seat in the dishwasher, so easy.
Stokke Tray
The Tripp Trapp Chair is designed to fit right into your table, bringing your baby into your family mealtimes. But if you’re not planning on always feeding your child at the table (think quick feeds, family gatherings, feeding them in the kitchen while you cook), getting this Tray could be a good idea. It attaches to your Tripp Trapp Baby Set, turning it into a stand-alone High Chair that adds versatility and greater flexibility to mealtimes.
Important! Please note that the Tripp Trapp Tray will need to be attached to the Baby Set. The Tray cannot be used without the Baby Set on the Tripp Trapp Chair itself.
