HOW TO USE

Place the shield over your nipple before feeding and let your baby latch to your nipple in the shield. Use while your baby is learning to feed or whenever your nipples feel damaged or tender and need some extra protection.

Typically a nipple shield is useful in the early period of breastfeeding and not needed long-term. Consult your lactation consultant or GP for personalised guidance.

Fourth Trimester Feeding Routine

Maximum milk. Minimal pain.

*Pre-feed*

STEP 1: If needed, place The Invisibles on one nipple, and Lots of Letdown Silicone Suction Breast Pump on the other. If you want to promote your flow, add warmed Booby Soothers Contoured Ice and Heat Pack around the pump (that’s why there’s a hole).

STEP 2: Switch sides, and repeat step 2.

*Post-feed*

STEP 3: Pour any milk collected in the pump into a Store and Pour Breastmilk Storage Bag, and put in the fridge or freezer.

STEP 4: Place Nip Magic Silver Nursing Cups onto your nipples and Leakproofer Breast Pads over the top and voila! ‘Til next time.

"I’ve tried a few and these are by bar my favourite. The softer silicone around the areola allows bubs to angle the nipple part while makes for an easier feed vs other nipple shields I’ve tried that that are firmer, I have to make sure it’s on the right angle for bubs to get good suction. Also for anyone considering nipple shields, life savours!!!! I wouldn’t have been able to breast feed without them! Saved me so much pain and damage to my nipples."
