As a Doctor of Chinese Medicine, co-founder of HQ Intelligent Health Georgina could see how in her practice just how much using Chinese Medicine principles helped women in fertility, pregnancy, post birth, breastfeeding as well as general health and wellbeing. When it came to having her own baby, she realised that she desperately needed the help that she was providing to other mums as a practitioner. Co-founder Anita was battling with her own fertility and health issues and was fortunate to have Georgina on call to help her on her path to motherhood. Perfect addition to your smoothie. Especially if you’re feeling a bit depleted.
'Pregnancy glow' I've heard of, but a motherhood glow is something that has eluded me so I was excited to try this supplement. The vanilla taste is pretty neutral so I found it was easy to blend into a smoothie with banana, berries and oat mylk, and I like that it is dairy free as I've had to stop eating it while breastfeeding due to bub's sensitive wee tummy.
After a month of taking Motherhood Glow a few times a week, do people mistake me for Gigi Hadid? No. But do I get asked for ID at Dan Murphy's? Also no, but I do think that my skin is clearer and the lines around the eyes are a bit plumper than they have any right to be after 6 months of broken sleep.
Aesthetics aside I also like that it's giving me a few extra nutrients, which is very welcome when sometimes lunch is two muesli bars scoffed while standing over the kitchen sink! I'll happily continue including this in my routine.
This is the perfect drink post partum - due to its high protein it keeps me full longer and stops me reaching for sugar
