As a Doctor of Chinese Medicine, co-founder of HQ Intelligent Health Georgina could see how in her practice just how much using Chinese Medicine principles helped women in fertility, pregnancy, post birth, breastfeeding as well as general health and wellbeing. When it came to having her own baby, she realised that she desperately needed the help that she was providing to other mums as a practitioner. Co-founder Anita was battling with her own fertility and health issues and was fortunate to have Georgina on call to help her on her path to motherhood. There was nothing readily available that could help all women on their motherhood journey. From this knowledge and need, the idea of Intelligent Health was born.

Traditional Chinese Medicine is based on thousands of years of holistic health and wellness practices. Unlike Western medicine which tends to have a mechanistic and segregated approach to health and wellness (eg separate specialists for respiratory health, reproductive health, mental health etc) traditional Chinese Medicine looks at the human being as a whole and seeks to diagnose and treat the human as an integrated whole. Intelligent Health seeks to combine the best of both worlds, with ancient wisdom and evidence based nutrition.
