This is a wonderful toy for newborns. Keep it in the pram, your nappy bag or use it as a distraction in the car. The rainstick is designed purely for observation and aural skills. When the stick is turned over, beads in 3 different colours will fall through the tube via the five wooden propellers, which have 2 different shapes.

Rainstick

I was surprised with the quality of this toy for the price, I used it as a basket filler and it’s probably the favourite toy out of the bunch. It is bigger than I expected and makes a beautiful sound my 5 month old is fascinated by it, I keep it as a distraction for nappy changes or as a last resort to entertain her it always seems to work.
