Okay, here’s the deal. Swaddling your baby for the first few months is where it’s at. Sleep bags are a good option versus muslin swaddling because while some people are amazing at it and the midwives make it look SO easy in hospital, most parents struggle at wrapping their baby in muslin, and a lot of babies always seem to escape from it. Perfect sleeping suit for what we needed. We bought this because it was versatile. We were able to use it when our little one was still getting swaddled and then could continue using it as we transitioned to arms free sleeping. Felt like we really got our moneys worth! Plus it was so thick and warm it was perfect for winter.
My little one is going through the infamous 4 month old regression and he’s always loved his love to dream swaddle to help him self-soothe and go back to sleep on his own! The transition suit helps him to get used to having one hand free as he learns how to roll! He’s still sleeping great because he’s able to self soothe with the other hand that’s still in the swaddle!
The most cuddly sleeping bag we’ve found. It’s so soft & has all of the features you want. Double zip, fold over feet, plus the ability to have 1 arm up, 1 arm swaddled will make the transition so much easier. For now we’re using it as a swaddle & the wings up makes it great for self soothing. We love it!
