That pram you’ve heard and seen everywhere? It’s the Vista 2, the multi-functional pram that gets top marks for versatility and street cred. Suitable for your newborn and until they’re four years old, the Vista V2 grows with your baby with additional attachments to fit more than one child. When they’re tiny, you’ll use the (included) bassinet. It has a ventilated canopy, extendable UPF 50+ sunshade, aerated mattress and base and water-repellent inner liner. This is removable and you can use it as a ‘carrycot’, to help you move from pram to home, a great on-the-go solution to avoid disrupting sleep. You can also attach your car capsule to the Vista V2. It is compatible with select Maxi-Cosi, Nuna and Joie capsules, you will just need to add the right adaptors. When they’re around six months old, they’ll be ready to move out of the bassinet, and into the (also included) reversible toddler seat, so they can ride forwards, backwards, completely upright or reclined. This one also has an extendable UPF 50+ canopy, providing great shade from the Australian sun.
Having another kid? Easy. You can add a RumbleSeat and push both around with ease. If you have twins, you can add a bassinet to the configuration. Tall and sturdy, this is a great pram for c-section parents. We are also obsessed with the size of the basket, so helpful when you’re running errands and need to store all your stuff, (and theirs). Some other features that make this pram so easy to drive and ride? It has a one-handed, multi-position recline, so your child can lie comfortably for naps or sit upright, whatever suits you, them, the state of play or the time of day. It also has a telescoping leather handlebar and shock-absorbing, all-wheel suspension. Finally, the Vista V2 has a one-step fold which is easy and intuitive. UPPAbaby VISTA Car Seat Upper Adapter (Maxi-Cosi)
The UPPAbaby Vista V2 is all about growing with your family and giving you the flexibility you need to get around. If you have a Maxi-Cosi, Nuna or Joie car capsule for your newborn, you can attach it to your pram with these adapters, and create more space between your primary and secondary seats. These adapters allow the capsule to sit in the frame of your stroller, simply snap your infant car seat into these adapters and you’re ready to stroll. This can make a huge difference to getting around in those early days, as you can keep your baby snug and safe in their capsule, moving them easily from car to pram without having to take them in and out of their cozy seat (especially helpful if they’re asleep).
Maxi Cosi Mico 12 LX Capsule - Onyx
A car capsule is a really helpful way to get around with your baby. A safe place for them to rest when you’re driving and when you park, you can take it out and carry your baby without interrupting their sleep to your next location, or attach it to your compatible pram. The Maxi Cosi Mico 12 LX is the lightest fully-featured baby capsule on the market and is suitable from newborn including low birthweight and premature babies up to 12 months of age, or when your baby hits the height requirements (whichever comes first).
With an easy to use 3 step seat belt installation system, you will have your capsule ready to go in no time. Simply place the base of the capsule into your car, thread the seat belt through the base and locking device, clicking the seatbelt into the buckle. Pull the seat belt tight, removing any slack and push the locking device into place. Your Maxi-Cosi Mico 12 LX also comes with a top tether cable (anchored to the back of your car) that you hook into place once the capsule has been inserted into the base. It goes without saying that no matter the installation method, a correctly installed car seat is much safer than an incorrectly installed car seat.
The Mico 12 LX features a one-handed 9-position automatic headrest, harness adjustment and multi-position adjustable crotch buckle, for comfort and safety along with ultra-comfortable bamboo wicking fabrics, that will keep your baby happy, cool and comfortable whatever the weather.
